Motorola is by far the leader in manufacture and design of Cell Phones. The company has been building the communications for the entire world for decades. When Motorola decided to become the builder of the Best Android Phone (Droids) it was no surprise.
The history of building with the newest technology is a asset for using Android Open Source Project. Google knew this from the beginning and is certainly a reason they where chosen to lead the huge insurgence of new users using smartphone technology.
Motorola's best known Droid Line is expanding and is showing no signs of slowing down. The Mobile Phones are becoming more and more powerful with every launch and Android OS Update. Most droid Phones are now being shipped with Eclair 2.1 OS or Froyo 2.2. The next update to the Operating System is due in the next quarter.
Not only does Motorola do Droid, but they make several phones that are at the lower price point. The Backflip Cliq and Cliq XT are very popular and and affordable.
