Black Friday and Cyber Monday are beginning to become a Holiday in America. In 2011 the sales started at Midnight. Many people seeking the best bargains barley finished washing the dishes from Thanksgiving before heading to the Mall.
All the retailers are report a increase of about 6% over 2010 sales. That said the frenzy is not over for four days. Cyber Monday is expected to do as good if not better than Black Friday 2011.
Of the retailers being watched is Best Buy. People who shop on Cyber Monday are at work in most cases and like electronics. This put best Buy in an position of a control that others strive to measure up to.

From WSJ-Sales on Black Friday—the big shopping day after Thanksgiving—rose 6.6% from a year ago, according to retail-data and consulting firm ShopperTrak, which uses equipment installed in stores to measure traffic. That compares with an anemic 0.3% gain in 2010. Sales for the four days beginning with Thanksgiving grew 16.4%, according to the National Retail Federation, which surveyed 3,826 people.
